I met Leigh over 6 years ago when I brought the house next door to him, the people who sold me the house had told me about the dogs. My first glimpse of them was from my spare bedroom window and their beauty took my breath away. A year or so after that I got to meet them and its fair to say now that they are my life! Our pack has grown somewhat since I started to demand a team of my own, Leigh had four when I met him and now together we have ten. It has changed my life completely and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I’m lucky in the fact my family and friends are supportive and understand that from September until March they wont see us for dust (snow sludge mud etc etc)
Leigh and I even planned our wedding around the dog racing season. We got married in Lapland with a husky ride to the ceremony of course, but before we booked we had to make sure there wasn’t a race on. hehehe!
I am also mad about Smooth Collies and after years of pestering Leigh I am now the proud owner of one called tabitha.
